The hat my daughter bought

My daughter bought me a delightful hat which I don’t wear often enough because of the unseasonably war weather we are experiencing.

Soon the weather will change and I will be going to the closet to get my favorite hat.

The hat my daughter bought

Now their work is done
Where have all the spiders gone?
Gone to warm homes everyone.
And settled on a nap
It is cold in December
When I remember
‘Tis time to don my hat
That my daughter
Bought for me.
In a corner of the closet,
Sits my favorite hat
Right where I put it
Under which,
Waits this very modest spider,
Waiting there to scare
The daylights out of me.
